Description
The ceramic piston pump operates as a valveless precision metering pump with a rotating ceramic piston. A stepper motor drive combined with an optical sensor ensures high repeatability with a coefficient of variation (CV) of 0.5%.
A highly abrasion‑resistant ceramic is used for the piston, enabling a service life of more than 10 million cycles. All wetted parts are made of PVDF, PTFE, and aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), providing excellent chemical resistance to aggressive fluids.
Standard dispense volumes of 50 µL, 100 µL, 200 µL, and 300 µL per stroke are available. Customized configurations can be realized on request, allowing this OEM metering pump to be flexibly integrated into existing systems.
For applications requiring higher discharge pressure, particularly in pharmaceutical laboratory environments, the CCP Series is a suitable alternative. It offers the same features as the CAP Series, but with a higher maximum discharge pressure of up to 7.5 bar.
